党的十一届三中全会胜利闭幕,中国从此踏上“改革开放”的征程。上海大众,上海汽车工业的元勋,无数“汽车人”拾梦的起点,它开启了一条通过合资经营方式推进中国轿车工业的发展之路;它的出现,宣告了“闭门造车”时代的终结,创下了中国轿车工业的一个新纪元。“1978年11月,中德双方进入汽车合资生产议题洽谈协作阶段,六年后,即1984年11月终于达成协议,谈判次数累计30余次。1985年3月,中德合资企业上海大众成立。合作方案正式启动:中德双方投资比例各占50%,合同期限为25年。”谈判历史貌似早已清晰明了、人尽皆知,事实则不然!谈判对象为何锁定德国大众,而非其他汽车企业?为何将桑塔纳定为最初的轿车选型?谈判时间何以如此之久?是中途搁浅而后又再续前缘所致,抑或另有隐情?

Why the negotiators to lock the German public, rather than Why other car companies? Why Santana was the first car selection? Negotiation time so long? Is stranded and then again due to the leading edge, or otherwise hidden?
