弹力纤维染色在病理学技术上是一种较为广泛使用的方法。最著名的有 Un-na’s 地衣红法,Weigert’s 对苯二酚品红法,Verhoeff’s 铁苏木素法、Gomori’s 醛品红法。这些方法各有其优缺点,如 Unna’s 法的优点是较为简便,缺点是对弹力纤维的染色力不强,目前已甚少应用。Weigert’s 法对弹力纤维染色较好,但试剂的配制颇为复杂,
