台湾地震3月31日14时52分(北京时间),在台湾以东海中发生里氏7.5级地震,震中距离位于台湾岛东北的苏澳、南澳一带约30公里,距台北约90公里。地震造成5人死亡,270多人受伤,至4月1日中午已发生大小余震近300次。这是救援人员在台北一倒塌楼房的废墟中救出幸存者。
At 14:52 on March 31 (Beijing time), the Taiwan quake struck a 7.5 magnitude 7.5 earthquake in the east of Taiwan. The epicentral distance was about 30 kilometers from Suao and Nan’ao in the northeast of Taiwan Island and about 90 kilometers from Taipei. Five people were killed and more than 270 were injured in the quake. Nearly 300 aftershocks of large and small magnitude occurred at noon on April 1. This is where rescue workers rescued survivors from the ruins of a collapsed building in Taipei.
