A method of measuring temperature based on the principle of oscillation frequency measurement is introduced. Through the thermistor and digital integrated circuit temperature changes will be converted to changes in oscillation frequency, and the use of 8031 microcontroller hardware and software resources on the FM signal pulse counting frequency discrimination and data processing. The article also discusses the basic principles of temperature-frequency conversion and pulse counting frequency discrimination, elaborates the hardware circuit and software design ideas, and puts forward measures to improve the measurement sensitivity and eliminate the frequency slow drift.
