今年8月22日,是伟人邓小平百年诞辰。中国人民尊称邓小平为“中国改革开放的总设计师”;有的外国人说邓小平是“中国的改革开放之父”。邓小平的一生,是曲折跌宕、波澜壮阔的一生。他以百折不饶的坚韧精神,对中国革命和建设作出了不可磨灭的贡献。他曾经多次说过:“没有毛主席,至少我们中国人民还要在黑暗中摸索更长的时间。”同样,没有邓小平,至少中国人民走上改革开放之路还要延缓许多年。邓小平绚丽多彩的历史,如今不绝于书,我们这里撷其精华,以飨读者,并以此表示对一代伟人的缅怀之情。
