某镍矿每天需将10500t品位1.29%的镍矿磨至-200目占80%,磨矿是在二段磨矿中完成的。磨矿回路采用添加60mm单一钢球的装介制度,钢耗750g/t。为了优化磨机介质条件,在该镍矿一个生产系统磨矿中采用了不同尺寸的短圆柱取代钢球作为介质。为了评价短圆柱介质的磨矿效果,选取旋流器的最终溢流作为研究对象。发现采用短圆柱介质系统的溢流细度-200目含量比其他系统高4个百分点。实验室浮选实验结果表明短圆柱介质系统的回收率比其他系统高1.4个百分点。
