初中化学教学是化学教育的启蒙阶段。要贯彻全面发展的方针,着眼于提高全民族的素质,要以化学基础知识教育学生,培养学生的基本技能和能力,为学生参加社会主义建设和进一步学习打好基矗化学与社会生活、生产有着广泛的联系,对于我国实现工业、农业、国防和科学技术现代化具有重要的作用。而在课堂教学得到较大幅度改革的今天,作业教学的改革却相对滞后。作业教学不能与课堂教学改革同步进行,成为薄弱环节,影响了整个化学教学质量的提高。
