一、正确认识科技图书馆文献情报资源的优势 科技、专业图书馆在利用信息资源、开发信息产品方面,具有独特的优势。为实现图书情报一体化,中国科学院于1985年将中国科学院图书馆更名为“中国科学院文献情报中心”,同时,上海、武汉、兰州、成都四个地区馆也更名为“地区文献情报中心”。新的名称既保留了图书馆特色,又体现了情报功能,融文献与情报于一体。以我们中科院兰州文献情报中心为例;就拥有极其丰富、学科齐全的文献情报资源,在总馆藏中,有期刊1.2万余种97.5万册,其中外文期刊占近80％;有各类图书30万册,其中外文图书
