It is the central task of psychoanalysis to seek suitable score standard for athlete’s psychological preparation directly under the conditions of competition. It is quite complicated to solve this problem in the jumping of track and field events because the time occupied by the competition itself is very short and there is no direct contact with the opponent. However, the psychological and emotional characteristics of the athletes during each test jump can not be seen by the naked eye. However, working experience and many years of practice are still ways to find out about this “unknown area.” It can even be said that most athletes’ mental preparation depends on whether he has a skilled and habit ready-to-action pattern - at least during the game, especially when preparing for the jump.
