湖北襄樊市现有会计干部队伍,一是数量严重不足,二是现有会计人员的分布与实际脱节,三是会计干部队伍的素质较差。总之,会计干部队伍的现状与有计划商品经济的发展和经济体制改革的深入开展不相适应,以致影响经济管理水平的迅速提高。要改变这种状况,除采取多渠道、多层次、多种形式培训会计人员外,我认为,有关部门应根据现有会计干部队伍的实际,制订相应的政策措施和有效的具体规定,以调动各个方面的积极性。一是制定鼓励自愿从事会计工作的人长期从事会计工作的优惠政策,稳住现有会计队伍。鼓励会计人员自学成材,提高会计干部队伍素质,对那些长期坚持在基层(尤其是乡镇企业)工作的优秀、模范会计人员要给予适当的奖励,特别是对提高经济管理水平和经济效益的有功的会计人员实行重奖。二是制
