尽管油梨进口商坚持市场有油梨供货不足的局面,但国家植物检疫部门认为在未来的几周内,水果不存在供应不足的情况,因为植物检疫部门已经批准从秘鲁、尼加拉瓜、智利与巴拿马进口油梨。植物检疫部门主任Francisco Dall’Anesse拒绝回应已批准多少吨的油梨进口到哥斯达黎加。他称有大量的油梨已准许进口到哥斯达黎加的市场,不存在水果供应短缺的局面。
Although the avocado importer insisted there was a shortage of oil pear in the market, the NPPO said there was no shortage of fruit in the next few weeks because the plant quarantine authorities have approved the import of pesticides from Peru, Nicaragua, Chile and Panama imported avocado. Francisco Dall’Anesse, Director of Plant Quarantine, declined to respond to how many tonnes of avocado it has already approved for import into Costa Rica. He said that a large number of oil-pear farmers have been allowed to import into Costa Rica’s market without any shortage of fruit supplies.
