Natriuretic peptide receptor A (NPRA), a member of the natriuretic peptide receptor family, exerts its pathophysiologic role primarily through its association with atrial natriuretic peptide and brain natriuretic peptide. NPRA more in the cardiovascular system research, a clear role in the relaxation of blood vessels, inhibition of myocardial fibrosis, to maintain cardiovascular stability. With the deepening of NPRA research, NPRA is also found to be involved in the body’s immune and inflammatory responses, and is highly expressed in many malignant tumor cells or tissues, which may be closely related to the occurrence and development of tumors and is expected to become a new target for tumor therapy point. Now on the structure of NPRA, function and its correlation with the tumor are reviewed.
