内蒙古有线广播电视台是全区性的ＣＡＴＶ大系统，具有系统规模大、涉及面广、技术要求高的特点。其总体技术方案的确定，应符合全区的有线电视总体规划，工程的实施既要考虑近期的实际，也要兼顾以后的长远发展，采取统一规划，分阶段建设的方针。我台使用ＭＭＤＳ在呼市市区避免了干线的规划和建设，取得投资省，见效快的效益，而且在市区发展具有极大的灵活性，为用户提供了快捷的收视技术手段。这样不仅较好地覆盖了市区，对远郊也取得了良好的覆盖效果，解决了电缆干线传输距离的制约，从而大大地扩大了呼市地区有线电视网的范围。本文就此从应用的角度对系统的构成、设备性能、接收指标的计算等技术情况作一介绍，并对其技术特点、基本功能作了分析说明。
