在一般化学工厂里,欲测定操作系统中大量的某种液体或气体,常在该液体(或气体)之流动过程中,添加一定量之己知成份化合物;然后再测定其在该流体中之浓度而算出该流体之流量。国外有些选鑛场采用过此种方法,结果尚准确实用,我们选鑛场也可以试用此法,计算系统中之处理鑛量,以核对其他方法所测定之鑛量。此法的要点是在鑛液流动过程中,以均匀速度加入某种化合物,事后即采取鑛液试料,再测定鑛液中所含该化合物之浓度,因以计算鑛量。
