Practice of Panzhihua Iron and Steel put into operation for 10 years proves that as long as it can persistently act according to objective laws and conduct scientific experiments and organize production in a down-to-earth manner, the existing technological process and main equipment can reach higher production levels and exceed design capabilities. Panzhihua Iron and Steel blast furnace smelting, hot metal vanadium extraction and the development of steel with good performance is the current process of the three major technical key. To realize the modernization of equipment, technology and management and further expand the comprehensive production capacity, a series of scientific and technological problems must be solved.
