近几年来,在教学中,努力克服单纯传授知识的片面做法,变应试教育为能力培养已成为广大中学英语教师的共识.从《英语教学大纲》、《考试说明》(即高考《考纲》到近年的高考试题,都把重视学生能力的培养摆在了突出的位置.请看九四年高考英语科NMET试卷,Ⅰ大题“单项填空”中的第11至40小题,这30道小题考查学生对现行中学英语教材中23个语言、语法基础知识,3道动词短语题、2道习惯用语题和2道情景对话题.
