The issue of party building under the conditions of a socialist market economy is a major realistic issue that lies before the whole party. Comrade Lin Yanshi’s new book, “Smile and Challenge - Building the Ruling Party under the Condition of Socialist Market Economy,” gave a whole new thought to that. The article on preventing the vulgarization of the party is a fragment taken from it in the hope that it will arouse more comrades to think and study the issue of party building under the new situation.
