根据苏联等的报告使用大蒜植物杀菌素預防和治疗流行性感冒及急性上呼吸道卡他,其效果要比其他药物如磺胺、阿司匹林等为佳,所用制剂为10%大蒜汁(大蒜汁10份,鹽酸普魯卡因3份,生理鹽水87份)滴鼻用。在我們使用过程中發现如下缺点:(1)有强力的大蒜臭味,病人不乐于用;(2)制剂中虽有3%鹽酸普魯卡因,但对鼻粘膜还是有刺激,点后有痛疼感觉;(3)大蒜植物杀菌素其主要有效成份为含硫之揮發性
