简称ATP1000大师赛、ATP大师赛,属于男子职业网球协会(ATP)赛事,数字1000代表冠军可获得的世界排名积分。ATP1000大师赛是ATP世界巡回赛中级别最高的赛事,规模仅次于四大满贯,每年在全世界九个城市举办。ATP1000大师赛的前身是上世纪90年代的“超九”赛事,2000年更名为网球大师系列赛(TMS),2004年更名为ATP大师系列赛。2009年,ATP对男子赛事进行全面改革,上海取代汉堡,和印第安维尔斯、迈阿密、蒙特卡洛、罗马、马德里、加拿大(蒙特利尔和多伦多轮流举办)、辛辛那提和巴黎一起,成为举办ATP1000大师赛的9个城市之一。其中,蒙特卡洛是唯一不强制顶级选手参赛的ATP1000赛事。
