Three controversial artists, John Everett Millers, William Hollman Hunter, and Dante Gabriel Rossetti, united in London in 1848. These young people longing for the artistic revolution call themselves “pre-Raphaelite brothers.” They advocate the style of painting advocated by former Italian painters Rafael, such as light and bright, natural lifelike and the performance of the heroic theme to replace the dark background and the formulation of the formula. Although people were sexually repressive at the time, members of the former Raphaelite fraternity were still able to find inspiration among women of all walks of life and create a bohemian subculture with above-all desires. Hunter fell in love with the flirtatious bar female Anne Miller, for her tuition, let her model. Only Rossetti can get his permission to “steal” Annie, both for personal enjoyment and painting purposes
