如东县是全国妇幼保健工作的先进典型之一,为了进一步搞好计划生育和妇幼保健工作,1979年4月～12月如东县妇幼保健所在新光公社进行了围产期和新生儿保健工作的试点,取得了很好的经验,并在全国妇产科学会上作了大会交流,现将其经验介绍如下: 一、要搞好农村围产期和新生儿保健工作,必须依靠大队赤脚医生。首先在当地举办短期培训班,使赤脚医生初步掌握了围产期和新生儿保健的基础知识和方法,从而为搞好这项工作打下了基础。二、开展孕产期保健:除了对公社每个孕妇逐个进行产前检查,并采取早孕诊断和妊30周时由试点组和公社卫生院妇保人员直接进行产前检查、其余各期由女赤脚医生检查的方法,以保证既能及时发现问题,又可对赤脚医生进行正确产前检查的指导,对高危孕妇则增加产前检查和走访次数,密切观察病情变化,并建立了“孕产妇管理记录卡”孕妇保健门诊预约卡”
