The German mathematician Widmann (14.1466-?) First used the plus sign in an arithmetic book that he wrote in 1489. The origins of the plus sign went through a tortuous course of development. In ancient times, many countries used Article-style writing that addition, there are figures linked to write together to indicate addition.
