课程改革是推行素质教育的关健环节,是教学改革的中心,时代的发展要求人们遵循学生的身心特点和成长规律,大力改革课程和教材体系,积极探索并实践适应素质教育要求、促进学生全面发展和个性发展的课程与教材。目前在我国推行的课程体系,过分偏重知识传授,课程内容过繁、过窄、陈旧难懂、脱离学生实际,课程结构过于强调学科本位,门类过多,缺乏整合,课程实施以教师讲解为主,学生缺乏主动参与、自主学习、合作交流的机会,过分强调评价的区别和选拔功能,评价内容单一,过程管理过于集中等。当前,科学技术迅猛发展,国际竞争日趋激烈,信息技术广泛应用,对教育提出了前所末有的挑战,现行课程已不能完全适应时代的发展。石林县自1996年实现“两基”目标以来,积极寻找素质教育的突破口,在中小学广泛开展形式多样、内容健康的课外教育活动,因地制宜建立农科
