近年来,随着化学除草剂的生产发展,农田化学除草的技术措施,已被广大贫下中农所逐益认识和掌握,试验、示范和应用面积日益扩大。1977年,仅我们低塘地区五个公社稻田化学除草面积已扩大到33700亩,其中晚稻田化学除草面积从1975年的500亩扩大到25200亩,占晚稻面积的58.1%,比1976年12000亩增加一倍以上。其中低塘公社晚稻田化学除草8200亩,占晚稻面积的86.6%;郑巷公社化学除草9200亩,占晚稻面积96.8%。实践证明,稻田化学除草成本低、花工少、除草及时、效果好。只要施用得当,施药一次,稻田草害问题基本上可以克服。稻田施用化学除草剂以后,还要不要进行人工耘田?不耘田会不会影响水稻产量呢?1976—1977年,我们进行了稻田化学除草不耘田对水稻生长和产量影响的对比试验
