契天使站在湖边，透过那平静的蓝色湖面望着下面的世界，望着那个男孩。
“再见！”
“再见！”男孩如平常一般，同那个女孩一起放学回家。
那一天，他问身边的那个女孩：“你相信世上有天使吗？”
“当然不信了，我又不是小孩子！”这是女孩的答案。
“是吗？”男孩没说什么，只是默默地望着天空发愣。
契天使穿过镜云池，镜天使与她擦肩而过：“天庭是不允许恋爱的，你是我们中最棒的，我不希望你受到惩罚。”
“是吗？”契天使离开了，她知道，自己已经爱上了男孩了。“那么，请让我下凡吧，我已经犯错了，我爱上了他。”收起自己雪白的翅膀，契天使纵身跃了下去。这一刻，她放弃了给予自己一切的天堂，契天使的身份已不再属于她。
男孩的班上转来一个新生，一个很可爱的女孩，蓝色的眼睛，皮肤白得像雪一样，就像一个天使——她叫契。那一刻，男孩愣住了，因为她真的好美，还散发出一种自己熟悉的气息。
契总是去找男孩，和他聊天，和他玩，和他一起看海，和他一起数星星，好开心，男孩好喜欢和契在一起的感觉。
某一天的黄昏时分，躺在夕阳下的沙滩上，男孩问契：“你相信世上有天使吗？”
“相信啊！”契甜甜地一笑。
男孩笑了：“如果世上真有天使的话，我好想看见哦！”
女孩望着他，好久，才问：“你真的想看见吗？”
男孩用力地点了点头。
“那好吧。”契站起来，闭上眼睛，念起了咒语。白色的光芒凝聚在她的周围，身后所隐藏的翅膀慢慢地张开了，雪白的，那是天使的羽翼呢！
男孩惊讶得合不上嘴。
突然，天上下雨了，白色的羽毛片片飘，落在男孩的身上。
契知道，时间并不多，“我爱你！”这是契第一次对男孩说。她转过身，将自己隐藏在了羽翼飘落的白色之中。男孩身手去抓，却什么也没抓到。突然眼前一黑，便失去了知觉。
隐约中，契听到了一个声音：“你泄露天机，需受到天堑。”是镜天使。“最后问你一次，醒来之后，他将会忘记今天的一切，你仍然不后悔吗？只要你愿意回天庭，你仍然是契天使。”
“不，我不后悔。”这是契的答案。
白色羽翼卷起的黑尘，轻轻地包围着契，一瞬间后，她已不再是天使，也不再是凡人，洁白的翅膀闪烁着黑色的光芒，她已坠入了地狱，化做了恶魔——这是天的惩罚。
契努力地向上爬着，无论流多少血，无论受多少伤，无论自己是天使或是恶魔，她想见到男孩，想要陪在他的身边。终于，遍体鳞伤的她爬上来了，再次以契的身份，在学校见到了男孩。男孩对她笑着，像往常一样，他已不记得昨天发生过什么，也永远不知道曾经有个女孩为他所牺牲过什么，只是笑着，像往常一样。契也笑了，这样或许也好吧。
那一天，下雨了，男孩，女孩，还有契，并肩走在路上。男孩突然看到街的对面有好漂亮的发饰，便跑了过去，然后一辆大车飞驰而过，女孩和契一起冲了过去。男孩被推开了，契本来就不在乎被车压到，可是女孩却倒在了血泊中……
医生说女孩不行了，男孩哭了，他喊着如果可以救回女孩的性命的话，他愿意付出任何东西。没有人注意到他说什么，大家都挤在女孩的病床前，可是，契却听到了。她没说什么，只是悄悄地来到了女孩的病床前，对着男孩大吼了一声：“我爱你。”这是她第二次对男孩说。男孩怔了一下，契笑了，她用她那最后的，也是唯一的恶魔的力量，将自己的生命传给了女孩……
镜天使再一次出现了：“你的生命已用尽，你将会消失。而在你消失的刹那，他将会完全地将你忘记，你不后悔吗？跟我回去吧，收回你的生命，你仍然是契天使。”
“不，我不后悔。”这是契的答案。一阵风吹过，一切都消失了，地上，只留下黑尘，与一片黑羽……
女孩醒了，在所有人都束手无策之时醒了。
后来，男孩与女孩结为了夫妻。
那一天，他问身边的那个女孩：“你相信世上有天使吗？”
“当然不信了，我又不是小孩子！”这是女孩的答案。
“是吗？”男孩没说什么，只是默默地望着天空发愣。
“你为什么总是望着天空发愣呢？”女孩问
“我也不知道，只是有一种怀念的感觉，似乎曾经有一个相信天使的人呢！”这是男孩的答案。
“别开玩笑了。” ■
There is a blue lake. Cheey, an angel, is standing along the lake. Through the quiet blue surface of the lake, she is starring at a boy, who is living in the world under the lake-- the human’s world.
"See you later!"
"See you!" The boy goes home with that girl as usual.
One day, he asks the girl:" Do you believe there are angels in the world?"
"Of course not! Don’t be silly, I am not a child!" This is the girl’s answer.
"Really?..." the boy says nothing more, but starring at the sky quietly.
Cheey is standing above the lake. Angel Jen walks towards her:“It is not allowed in Heaven to fall in love with anybody. You are the best among us. I don’t want you to be punished."
"..Then let me go", She knows she has already fallen in love with that boy. "Let me go to the human’s world. I have already made a mistake: I am in love with him." Cheey jumped into the lake, with her snow white wings folded. At that moment, she gave up everything she had, and also heaven, where she lives for her whole life. “Angel Cheey" does not belong there any more.
A new student transfers to the boy’s class. She is lovely, with blue eyes and snow-white skin. She is like an angel. Cheey is her name. For an instant, the boy can not speak out a single word, because she is so gorgeous. He feels that he has met her before.
They like to do everything together, walking along the seashore, starring at the sky. Even if staying there and saying nothing, they feel happy.
One day, looking at the setting sun, he asks Cheey: " Do you believe that there are angels in the world?"
"Of course!" She answers with a smile.
He smiles too:" I hope I can see them if there are really angels in the world!"
She stares at him for a long time, then asks:" Do you REALLY want to see?"
He nods his head firmly.
"All right then." Cheey stands up, murmurs a conjuration. Suddenly, she is surrounded by a dazzling light! Her wings spread behind her, as white as snow! Those are Angel’s wings!
He is so surprised and can not even close his mouth.
All of a sudden, it begins to rain. White feather falls on his shoulder.
Cheey knows she does not have much time. " I love you!" This is the first time she says this to the boy. She turns around, hiding herself in the falling feathers. He wants to catch her, but gets nothing. All at once, he loses consciousness.
"You said something that you are not supposed to say. You will get punished." Cheey heard somebody is talking to her from far away. It is Angel Jen. "This is your last chance: Do you insist on saving him even if he will forget everything when he wakes up? If you change your mind, you can still come back to the Heaven and be an Angel Cheey."
"No, I will not regret." That is Cheey’s answer.
The white wings are getting darker and darker. Finally, they become black. She is not an angel any more, not even a human. She falls in to hell and becomes a devil. That is the punishment from Heaven.
Cheey tries her best climbing to the ground, no matter how much she gets wounded, no matter how much blood she is losing. She wants to see the boy. She wants to be with him. Finally, she gets to the ground with cuts found everywhere on her body. and she becomes Cheey again. She comes back to the school and meets the boy again. The boy smiles to her politely, like nothing happened before. Indeed, he has forgotten everything and he will never remember what Cheey has done for him. He just keeps smiling. Cheey smiles too. Probably that is a better solution.
It is raining that day. The boy, the girl and Cheey are walking along the road. He finds that there are lots of lovely barrettes at the other side of the road. He wants to buy them for the girl. However, the light becomes green at that time and a truck is coming! The girl and Cheey run to him at the same time. The boy is saved, and Cheey is safe too--because she is not a human. But, the girl falls down gently like a leaf, with her eyes closed.
The doctor says that it is the end for the girl. The boy cries so badly. He cries that he can give up anything he has to save the girl. Nobody heared what he said. But Cheey did. She says nothing but comes to the girl’s bed. She turns to the boy, simles to him and says:" I love you!" This is the second time she said this. The boy can not react because at the same time the girl’s bed is surrounded by a black dazzling light. Cheey gives her life to the girl, using her last devil’s power, the only power she has left.
Angel Jen appears again:" Your life has been used up and you will disappear. He will forget everything about you. Do you still not regret?Come back with me, Cheey, you will save your life and still be an angel."
Cheey smiles with the answer:" I will NEVER regret." The wind blows and everything has disappeard. There is only dust and a piece of black feather left on the ground.
The girl wakes up, when nobody can do anything for her.
Soon, the boy and the girl get married.
One day he asks his wife:" Do you believe that there are angels in the world?"
"Of course not! Don’t be silly, I am not a child!" This is the girl’s answer.
"Really?..." the boy says nothing more, but starring at the sky quietly.
" Why do you always stare at the sky?"
" I don’t know. But I feel that there is someone I know over there.
"Stop joking."■
