数学是思维的体操,语言是思维的外壳。数学语言是表述数学名词、术语、定义、定理、法则、公式、思路、方法等的一种特殊语言,它与一般语言相比,更具科学性、简洁性、符号性、抽象概括性。《数学新课程标准》明确提出:“数学是一种文化,它的内容、思想、方法和语言是现代文明的重要组成部分。”实践证明,在实施新课程的理念中,培养学生的数学语言表达能力具有十分重要的意义。
Mathematics is the gymnastics of thinking, the language is the shell of thinking. Mathematical language is a special language that expresses mathematical nouns, terms, definitions, theorems, rules, formulas, ideas and methods. It is more scientific, concise, symbolic and abstract than general language.
