《分手合约》基本上就是命题作文,不论故事怎么编,都无法逃离开原作《礼物》的绝症结局,这对编剧来说是一个很大的难题,因为用绝症来煽情的韩片套路,已经不合时宜了,尤其在现在这个喜剧为大的市场。我没有看过李英爱版的《礼物》,不知道《分手合约》在情节设置上做了多大的改动。但从人物关系的改变与组合来看,《分手合约》在中国本土化的改编创作中下了不少功夫。同枕夫妻变同窗情侣,依据白百何以往荧屏银幕形象而用台词重新塑造黄小仙式的女主角,还加了男闺蜜这一条人物线,让整个故事顿时生动了不少,盖住韩片散文诗风格的平淡,影片也随之“热闹”了起来。
