As the price of semiconductor equipment has skyrocketed, it has affected the surge in investment in semiconductor production lines. It has not yet been known to what extent a one billion US dollar line can be built. However, semiconductor chip manufacturers and equipment manufacturers are making every effort to extract more potential from existing production line equipment.
