中国人要说中国话,因为中国话是中国人的母语,是中国的语言形象,是中华民族的语言标志。它表现着国家的尊严,民族的自信,它是思想交流的良器,外交的桥梁。它的独特魅力,早已为世人所知。上个世纪60年代,陈毅在记者招待会上,慷慨陈词,声如洪钟,语惊四座。70年代,乔冠华在联合国大会上,侃侃而谈,仰天大笑,声闻五洲。80年代,邓小平走上联合国讲坛,沉着稳健,宇宇如珠,会场悄然无声,世界感到了中国的分量。他们使用的全是中国话。
Chinese people want to speak Chinese because they are the mother tongue of Chinese, the language of China, and the language mark of the Chinese nation. It shows the dignity of the country and the self-confidence of the nation. It is a good instrument for diplomatic exchanges and a bridge for diplomacy.
