What do editors do? We can often see or hear many responses of one kind or another. Some people say that editors are the successors and disseminators of human culture, which dictates the editors’ mission and responsibilities. Some people say that the editor is “do wedding dress ”. This metaphor is widely cited because it not only outlines the characteristics of editorial labor, but also implies the noble feelings of editing “Silent Dedication” and “Beauty of the Adults.” I remember when author Jiang Zilong, a writer many years ago, won an award for his work, I compared the work of editing to the steel bars that were only hard but not appearing in concrete columns. This and “do wedding dress ” analogy has the same purpose. When people talk about editing this science, it is also natural to ask editors what is the “home” of the “one hundred.”
