近年来,由于随着Internet和Intranet技术的广泛应用,交易的信息量以令人难以置信的速度在迅速增长。电子商务、电子邮件等网络服务对数据在可用性、可靠性、可扩展性等方面提出了更加严格的要求,同时,数据的异地实时存储也日渐显得重要,特别是在“9.11”事件后,现在“异地存储、异地备份、异地容灾”等存储概念开始被人们接受并重视。传统的存储方式已不能满足这种要求,因此,网络存储技术应运而生。
In recent years, with the widespread use of Internet and Intranet technologies, the amount of information exchanged has risen rapidly at an incredible rate. Network services such as e-commerce and e-mail put forward more stringent requirements on data availability, reliability and scalability. At the same time, real-time storage of data in different places has become increasingly important. Especially after the September 11 incident, “Storage in different places, off-site backup, remote disaster recovery” and other storage concepts began to be accepted and valued. The traditional storage methods can not meet this requirement, therefore, network storage technology came into being.
