现代壁画是科学性、技术性、艺术性三位一体的艺术。 建筑设计的原则是“人”为中心。这个原则对现代壁画设计者来说,同样适用。这个原则中的“人”,不仅仅是壁画家自己的理念与审美情绪的表现与满足,还应包涵着欣赏者的意志、性格、审美情趣等因素。人的理念、人的欲求、人的性情、人的美好向往与追求等等,是壁画家与欣赏者的总和。 现代工业文明、现代科技发展为现代壁画的创造提供着层出不穷的新材料,使壁画家以敏锐的观察力、丰富的视觉经验,以创造性的思维、全新的构想,将现代意识、理念,以各种材料再现于现代建筑之中。
