王冬龄,1945年生,江苏如东人。中国书协理事、草书委员会副主任,浙江省书协副主席,杭州市书协主席,西冷印社理事。中国美术学院现代书法研究中心主任、教授、博士生导师。主要著述《中国美术通史·书法篆刻史》《清代隶书要论》《中国艺术教育大系·书法篆刻》《书法艺术》等。主持策划194现代书法探索展、195首届国际现代书法双年展、杭州国际现代书法双年展等。获第二届中国书法兰亭奖教育奖一等奖,韩国197世界书艺全北双年展大奖,2005年中国书坛十大年度人物,2011年中国书法十大年度人物。第六届AAC艺术中国年度影响力艺术家书法类大奖。
