七月下旬,四川省教育厅总结了彭县快速扫盲法,赶编成职工速成识字课本(试用本),并在成都印制厂、第二砖瓦厂进行试点。试点的结果:成都印制厂半文肓30人,经过3—7天(识400字左右的半文盲18小时,识800字的半文盲10—12小时),扫除了文盲;第二砖瓦厂在5天内(23小时)扫除文盲110人。目前已全面铺开。这些扫盲学员大约都能认两千个常用字,能阅读工人日报的消息和通俗小册子,并且可以
In late July, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education summed up Peng County’s rapid literacy law, and compiled an accelerated literacy textbook for its employees (trial version), and conducted trials at the Chengdu Printing Plant and the second brick and tile factory.
