天津新港进港主航道二期工程设计始于一九八一年,一九八二年三月开始施工,一九八四年十二月竣工。经天津市建委、交通部基建局等部门组织联合验收,鉴定为:“技术上合理,施工良好”。一九八五年天津港务监督制定通航规定,保证了天津港进出船舶的安全航行。该航道系为天津港四港池集装箱码头进出1800TEU第三代集装箱船配套项目,并为双向航行万吨级船舶提供条件。该航道全长23.154公里;设计水深-11.0米(天津新港理论深度基准面为准,下同);通航公告水深
The construction of the second phase of Tianjin New Port Main Channel entered the project started in 1981, started construction in March 1982 and completed in December 1984.
