中国当代文学的对外译介是增强我国文化软实力的重要举措。《狼图腾》不仅创造了中国文学海外版权输出的新纪录,其英译本更是畅销不衰,堪称中国当代文学“走出去”的典范。本文借用胡庚申的生态翻译学视角对《狼图腾》的英译本进行审视,从委托者对文本的选择等四方面进行深入分析,最后得出结论,认为该译本的成功主要归结于其整体的翻译生态环境实现了和谐互动。作者在此基础上进一步总结了它对中国当代文学“走出去”的启示。
Translating and Interpreting Chinese Contemporary Literature is an Important Measure to Enhance China’s Cultural Soft Power. “Wolf Totem” not only created a new record of the overseas copyright of Chinese literature, but also its best-selling English version, which is regarded as the model of “going out” in Chinese contemporary literature. Based on Hu Gengshen’s perspective of ecological translatology, this essay examines the English versions of the Wolf Totem and analyzes in depth the choices of the texts from the commissioner. Finally, it concludes that the success of the translation is mainly due to its overall Translating ecological environment to achieve a harmonious interaction. On this basis, the author further summarizes its enlightenment on Chinese contemporary literature “going out ”.
