1985年8月9日,河南省固始县姓李的个体运销户,用汽车运来5,500多斤灰鸭毛,卖给湖北省黄陂县武湖农场羽绒厂。当该厂检验员、共青团员李汉卿拿起工具准备检验时,发现货主悄悄走进检验室,将纸包的什么东西塞进自己办公桌的抽屉里。他打开抽屉拆开纸包一看,原来是300元钱。他意识到“无事相求不送礼”,立即将钱退还给货主,严肃地说:“我们不兴这个!”
