在工厂计量室里,光学分度头的应用是很普遍的。随着生产和科学技术的发展,光学分度头的精度也越来越高了。目前我国已能制造出精度为1秒,最小读数为0.1秒的光栅分度头,标志着我国精密计量仪器的制造水平达到了新的高度。但是,有了高精度的分度头是否就一定能得到高精度的测量结果呢?不一定。因为,如果我们不重视或者不细致地做好测量前的调整工作,那么常常会在测量结果中产生一项附加的转角误差,使得当分度头转动时,工件的实际转角与分度头转角不一致,这一数值有时会大大地超出仪器的精度指标。这样,分度头的精度再高,也没有什么意义
