随着期刊业的发展和加入WTO对我国期刊业的影响,高校学报在期刊业的竞争中处于明显的劣势地位。高校学报要办下去,应将社会效益放在第一位,努力挖掘高校学报所具备而一般性期刊所不具备的特殊属性和功能。作者从2003年开始探索这一问题,经过五年多的探索和实践得到一些有益的启示,对学报工作的重要性有了全新的认识。高校学报有无存在的必要尚在讨论中,但高校学报存在一天,作为学报工作者就应努力去实现它的办刊宗旨,切实发挥学报工作对学校科研和学科建设的促进作用。而以审稿为切入点,是发挥学报为学校的科研和学科建设服务作用的一条直接和有效的途径。
With the development of the periodical industry and the impact of joining the WTO on the periodical industry in our country, the college periodicals are at a significant disadvantage in the periodical industry’s competition. To run the journals of colleges and universities, the social benefits should be given top priority and the special attributes and functions that the journals of colleges and universities do not have in common with regular journals. The author started to explore this issue from 2003, and after some five years of exploration and practice, he got some helpful enlightenments and gained a new understanding of the importance of journal work. Although the necessity of university journals is still under discussion, there should be one day for journals of colleges and universities. As journalists, they should try their best to achieve the purpose of running the journals, and give full play to their role in promoting scientific research and discipline construction in schools. However, judging from the point of review, it is a direct and effective way to play a role of journals in serving the school’s research and discipline construction.
