在邹衡先生逝世十周年之际,我回忆起曾给我留下深刻印象的八里桥遗址。因为,一是这处遗址重要,二是这个遗址的发掘与邹先生有关,所以特写此短文,表示对邹先生的纪念。1980年,邹衡先生的《夏商周考古学论文集》已由科学出版社出版,他所建立的夏商周考古学学术体系公之于世,但他并未因此而停止研究。为了解决夏商文化研究中的一些遗留问题,他对已论证的夏商文化重大课题,还要进行验证、补充甚至修正。一方面参与引领1977年登封会议后掀起的夏文化探索中的大辩论,另一方面则继续进行考古调查
On the tenth anniversary of Mr. Zou Heng’s death, I recall the ruins of Baliqiao that impressed me.
