Schacher等根据微丝蚴体核的恒定性,证实班氏微丝蚴存在种内体核数目的差异,然而常规染色法,特别对于盘尾丝虫属常不能及时显示微丝蚴体核,最近作者发现一种乙酰—地衣红压片法适用于微丝蚴体核计数,并比较了不同属和不同种微丝蚴的体核数。微丝蚴的制备:分别从危地马拉人体摘除盘尾丝虫结节及从牛的脐部皮肤获得盘尾丝虫及喉瘤盘尾丝虫(O.gutturosa)微丝蚴。
