On April 29, 1992, a rare riot broke out in downtown Los Angeles in the United States. The riot lasted for four days, killing 50 to 60 people and losing $ 800 million to 1 billion in property. The insurgency started on March 3 of this year when black youth Rodney King was beaten up by four white traffic police for speeding.
