为了进一步抓好矿产资源开发管理,万县人民政府在各区、镇、乡政府配备矿产资源管理员(简称矿管员)一人,暂由各区、镇、乡计划统汁助理员兼任。矿管员的职责是: 一、贯彻执行国家有关地质矿产的法律、法规、方针、政策,并依法行使县政府及其县矿管机构赋予的矿产资源勘查、开发管理和监督的职责。二、组织实施《矿产资源法》,维护矿业生产秩序,保护依法取得的探矿权,采矿权不受侵犯。禁绝无证采矿,保护矿产资源,使之免遭破坏和浪费。
