他选择了煤科学研究来到李春虎教授的办公室,首先映入眼帘的是三个大书柜,里面放满了中外图书和技术资料,书桌上摆放着稿纸、笔记本和实验记录。可以看出他在抓紧翻阅资料和数据,准备写工作总结或学术论文。要不是聊起他的学习简历,真想不到他是在天津大学取得博士学位之后来到太原理工大学的。“你怎么出了娘子关又回来了?”我稍带好奇地问。“其实,我当时也有些别的选择,但觉得还是搞煤科学研究有意思,所以我首先选择了专业,也选择了母校。”他回答得那样简单那样坦然。李春虎今年37岁,出生在山西洪洞的一个农民家庭。他在太原理工大学读完本科和硕士学位以后,考取了天津大学的博士研究生。1994年取得博士学位以后,他可以出国,也可以接受天津一家石油公司和解放军一家研究院的诚聘,找到一份称心如意的工作。但他经过再三思考,想到未来的煤科学事业,想到悉心教诲他的老师,他的心豁然开朗了:“我要搞煤科学研究,一定要回到太原理工大学去。”

Li Chunhu, 37, was born in a peasant family in Hongdong, Shanxi Province. After he graduated from Taiyuan University of Technology undergraduate and master’s degree, he took a doctoral degree from Tianjin University. After obtaining a doctorate in 1994, he can go abroad or accept the appointment of an oil company in Tianjin and a research institute of the People’s Liberation Army to find a satisfactory job. However, after thinking again and thinking of the future coal science career, he thought his heart was carefully taught to his teacher: ”I want to engage in scientific research in coal and must go back to Taiyuan University of Technology.“ ”
