党的十八大报告明确指出:要“以服务群众、做群众工作为主要任务,加强基层服务型党组织建设”。这为我们在新的历史时期加强基层党组织建设指明了方向。作为马克思主义执政党,中国共产党一直秉持全心全意为人民服务的根本宗旨,始终把实现好、维护好、发展好最广大人民的根本利益作为自己的庄严使命。只有充分发挥基层党组织推动发展、服务群众、凝聚人心、促进和谐的作用,把服务作为基本价值取向和功能定位,才能更好地实践党的根本宗旨,巩固党的执政
The report of the 18th National Congress of the CPC clearly states: It is necessary to “serve the masses and do mass work as its main task and strengthen the building of grass-roots service-oriented party organizations.” This pointed out the direction for us to step up the building of grass-roots party organizations in the new historical period. As the Marxist ruling party, the CPC has always adhered to the fundamental principle of serving the people wholeheartedly and has always regarded it as its solemn mission to realize, safeguard and develop the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the people. Only by giving full play to the role of grass-roots party organizations in promoting development, serving the masses, uniting people, and promoting harmony, we can serve as the fundamental value orientation and function orientation in order to better practice the fundamental purposes of the party and consolidate the party’s governing
