Changchun Institute of Optics and Photonics is one of the major institutes of Chinese Academy of Sciences. There are 2,468 retired employees, including 112 retired cadres and 2,356 retired employees. It is our unshirkable responsibility to properly manage retired veteran comrades so that they will make the most of their achievements and live their lives in their later years. However, fully mobilizing the enthusiasm of the old comrades and guiding them to self-management and self-service is an important guarantee for improving the level of retirement management that I have worked for. At present, we employ 186 old comrades to participate in management services.
