2006年4月28日,在庄严肃穆的人民大会堂,福田汽车、潍柴动力、德国博世、奥地利AVL缔结“国际化战略联盟”签约仪式隆重举行。据介绍,此次国际化战略联盟的缔结标志着“P-V-POUR”工程的全面启动。P代表Partnership、Power,即合作、动力;V代表Victoty,即共赢,同时又是潍柴的谐音;FOUR代表4家公司。随着“P-V-FOUR”工程的全面启动,3国4方企业将在原本密切合作的基础上,进行战略意义上的全面合作,建立更加紧密的合作关系。强势联合协同共赢此次战略联盟的4家企业在各自领域都有很强的实力和地位。福田汽车是我国最大的商用车制造企业之一;潍柴动力是我国著名的柴油发动机制造企业之一;德国博世公司是从事汽车技术、工业技术和消费品及建筑技术的全球最大的工业企业之一;奥地利AVL公司是集发动机科研、开发、设计、咨询以及发动机测试设备生产的跨国高科技集团。事实上,在此之前,这4家企业已经有着良好的合作背景。正是由于相互间有着高度相关性,产品互补且互为依托,才使4方建立战略联盟有着雄厚的基础和充分的必要性。不仅如此,联盟将促使4方在资源协同利用的基础上有效降低成本,并形成更强的核心竞争力。

Bosch in Germany is one of the largest industrial enterprises in the world engaged in automobile technology, industrial technology, consumer goods and construction technology ; Austrian company AVL is a transnational high-tech group that integrates the research, development, design, consulting and manufacture of engine test equipment for engines.
