“Che Guevara” tour on March 10 to Shanghai, Lan Xin Theater full. Since last April, this play has successively conquered Beijing and Guangzhou. After performing in Shanghai, it also needs to go west into Chengdu. This play is a direct reference to the social reality of corruption, unequal wealth and poverty and put forward an ancient proposition: revolution. Language is highly motivational and satirical. Some viewers obsession, others almost “angrily away.” This is just the restlessness of the surface. Deeper clashes are taking place through this play, and civilians, officials (including their dependents) with different views perform differently. The most intense are the intellectuals: the two seminars held in Beijing have become the debates of “leftist” and “rightist.” Some people say that “Che Guevara” has become a political show. There are indications that in China, the field of thought is not as calm as the surface.
