９０例无牙颌患者（４５例男性，４５例女性），用吸光度法测定其戴用全口义齿后１周，１，３及６月的咀嚼效能，并同时了解影响其咀嚼功能的部分因素，结果发现：无牙颌患者戴用全口义齿后，其咀嚼效能随着戴牙时间的增长而逐步提高，戴义齿３～６个月趋于稳定，但均低于正常对照组；影响咀嚼功能的因素较多，如咀嚼次数、关系、制作者、人工牙种类、咀嚼习惯等。
