加入WTO将对中国经济产生3个重要的影响。第一是促进中国外贸量的增长,特别是从发达国家的进口将大幅上升。加入WTO对中国的第二个影响是它将极大地改变中国的经济结构。当然其效果不会立竿见影,这可能要到5年后才会显现出来。加入WTO的第三个影响是它将促进中国市场经济体制改革的深入发展。如果中国加入WTO,将不得不遵守WTO的规则,所以WTO将作为一种外力迫使中国深化自己的经济改革。
Joining the WTO will have three important impacts on the Chinese economy. The first one is to promote the growth of the volume of China’s foreign trade. In particular, the import from the developed countries will increase substantially. The second impact on China from joining the WTO is that it will greatly change China’s economic structure. Of course, the effect will not be immediate, which may not be revealed until 5 years later. The third impact of joining the WTO is that it will promote the in-depth development of China’s market economy system reform. If China joins the WTO, it will have to abide by WTO rules, so the WTO will force China to deepen its own economic reform as an external force.
